About

Donna Rice is a professional photographer and artist, her love for photography started when she was nine years old.  Donna started her career as a full time photographer in 1997 opening her studio in an office building on Indianapolis, Indiana’s Southside.  Today she is one of the very few professional photographers that works full time in her studio that is now located in Greenwood, Indiana.

Her love for photography grew while in high school taking a photography course her sophomore year that introduced her to developing film and printing her photos in a dark room.  Her passion for photography was obvious to her parents, when a new garage was built they added a darkroom for her.  Donna saved  money that she made from babysitting and was able to purchase an enlarger, trays and other equipment for her darkroom.  Her junior year of high school she took a class on developing color film and color slides.  Through out the years Donna has taken various photography classes.  The last few years she has taken classes at Winona School of Professional Photography.  There she enrolled in a class teaching Corel Painter and fell in love with it! Since then she has worked and practiced her craft and is now offering this service to her clients in addition to her studio work.

Donna is a member of the Professional Photographers of America; Indianapolis Professional Photographer’s Guild, Aspire Johnson County + Chamber Alliance.

Donna has had several of her photos published in local newspapers and magazines through out the years. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
